Green Gals Product Review: Eco Lips Lip Scrub
I was in need of some lip therapy this winter! I came across the Eco Lips products, while shopping for a new lip balm for my daughter. There perched next to my go to usual lip products was a display for Eco Lips. After grabbing a few of their lip balms to try, I also added their Mint Lip Scrub to my cart. I am a BIG fan of ANYTHING mint, so it was an easy choice between their other flavors, which included brown sugar and vanilla bean.
As you can see in the third photo, my lips without any product look pasty and have wrinkles. Upon using just a tiny dab of the lip scrub and applying it to my lips in a circular motion I could tell it was going to help. After the first scrub, my lips were brought to life! A gentle scrub helps get the blood flowing to the area, which automatically makes the lips look better, and sloughing of dead skin cells is always a good step in the right direction. But, what I noticed after a week of gentle scrubbing everyday my lips do not look ghostly white without using any lip color! And the conditioning ingredients in this scrub made a difference. I have used other scrubs before, but so far this scrub has had the most lasting effects.
On the lip scrub packaging, they mention that you can just tissue off or even lick the scrub off. I tend to leave it on after I make sure to wipe away the remaining sugar granules. I used to NEVER leave the house without lipstick, tinted lip balm, or some type of coverage. However, now I mix it up and go naked every once and awhile...with my lips that is!
My lips, when I do apply lip color, look so much better, smoother, plumper if you will, and as I mentioned more colorful!
PRICE: Under $5! I have used the same jar of scrub for 6 weeks now, and I still have about 1/3 left!
